- 1 cup unsweetened vegan milk
- ½ cup cold vegan butter cubed
For the Filling:
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 medium onion diced
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 scotch bonnet pepper minced (optional)
- 1 cup green lentils cooked
- 1 cup young jackfruit shredded
- 1 cup mixed vegetables peas, carrots, corn
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp Jamaican allspice
- ½ tsp dried thyme
- Salt and black pepper to taste
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and spices.
Cut in the vegan butter until the mixture resembles crumbs.
