For the Marinade:
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon grated ginger
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon Kashmiri chili powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
For the Kababs:
- 1 lb boneless skinless chicken thighs, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 green bell pepper cut into chunks
- 1 red bell pepper cut into chunks
- 1 onion cut into wedges
- Vegetable oil for brushing
In a bowl, mix all marinade ingredients. Add chicken and coat thoroughly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or overnight.
Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
Thread marinated chicken, bell peppers, and onions onto skewers.
Brush skewers lightly with vegetable oil.
Grill 10–15 minutes, turning occasionally, until chicken is fully cooked and vegetables are tender.
Serve hot with mint chutney or naan.
