- 1 cup warm milk 110°F to 115°F
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 2 teaspoons active dry yeast
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup pineapple juice
In a large bowl, combine warm milk, 1 tsp sugar, and yeast. Let sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
Add butter, granulated sugar, eggs, flour, salt, and pineapple juice. Mix until a dough forms.
Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for 5–7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour in a warm place.
Punch down dough and divide into 24 equal balls.
Place rolls in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
Cover and let rise for 30 minutes.
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Bake for 15–20 minutes until golden brown.
Allow to cool slightly before serving.
