Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup warm milk 110°F to 115°F
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 2 teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup pineapple juice

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl, combine warm milk, 1 tsp sugar, and yeast. Let sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
  • Add butter, granulated sugar, eggs, flour, salt, and pineapple juice. Mix until a dough forms.
  • Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for 5–7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  • Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour in a warm place.
  • Punch down dough and divide into 24 equal balls.
  • Place rolls in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Cover and let rise for 30 minutes.
  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Bake for 15–20 minutes until golden brown.
  • Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • Use real butter for richer flavor.
  • Add shredded coconut for a tropical twist.
  • Store in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
