Delicious Raspberry Peach Tea: A 10-Minute Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 4-5 black tea bags or green tea bags
  • 4 cups boiling water
  • 1/2 cup fresh or frozen raspberries
  • 1 ripe peach pitted and sliced
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar or sweetener of choice adjust to taste
  • 4 cups cold water
  • Ice cubes
  • Garnish: Fresh raspberries and peach slices

Instructions
 

  • Brew a Tea Concentrate: Place the tea bags in a large heat-safe pitcher or bowl. Pour the 4 cups of boiling water over the tea bags and let them steep for 5 minutes.
  • Make a Fruit Puree: While the tea is steeping, combine the raspberries, sliced peach, and sugar in a small saucepan over medium heat. Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the fruit has broken down and the sugar is dissolved.
  • Strain the Tea: Remove the tea bags from the pitcher.
  • Combine and Chill: Pour the fruit mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into the pitcher of tea, pressing on the fruit solids to extract all the liquid. Discard the solids. Add the 4 cups of cold water to the pitcher and stir to combine.
  • Serve: Let the tea cool completely, then serve over glasses filled with ice. Garnish with fresh fruit.

Notes

  • For a vibrant red color, be sure to use fresh or frozen raspberries and press them well when straining.
