- 4-5 black tea bags or green tea bags
- 4 cups boiling water
- 1/2 cup fresh or frozen raspberries
- 1 ripe peach pitted and sliced
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar or sweetener of choice adjust to taste
- 4 cups cold water
- Ice cubes
- Garnish: Fresh raspberries and peach slices
Brew a Tea Concentrate: Place the tea bags in a large heat-safe pitcher or bowl. Pour the 4 cups of boiling water over the tea bags and let them steep for 5 minutes.
Make a Fruit Puree: While the tea is steeping, combine the raspberries, sliced peach, and sugar in a small saucepan over medium heat. Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the fruit has broken down and the sugar is dissolved.
Strain the Tea: Remove the tea bags from the pitcher.
Combine and Chill: Pour the fruit mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into the pitcher of tea, pressing on the fruit solids to extract all the liquid. Discard the solids. Add the 4 cups of cold water to the pitcher and stir to combine.
Serve: Let the tea cool completely, then serve over glasses filled with ice. Garnish with fresh fruit.
