Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup fresh grapefruit juice
  • 1 tbsp fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 oz agave or simple syrup adjust to taste
  • 4-6 oz chilled club soda or sparkling water
  • For the rim: 1 tsp coarse salt mixed with a pinch of chili powder optional
  • Garnish: A slice of grapefruit and a lime wedge
  • Ice cubes

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the Rim (Optional): Rub the lime wedge around the rim of a tall glass (such as a highball glass). Pour the salt and chili powder mixture onto a small plate and dip the rim into the mixture.
  • Combine Juices: Fill the prepared glass with ice. Add the fresh grapefruit juice, lime juice, and agave or simple syrup.
  • Stir to Combine: Stir the ingredients gently until they are well combined.
  • Top and Serve: Top the mixture with chilled club soda or sparkling water. Garnish with a fresh slice of grapefruit and a lime wedge. Serve immediately.

Notes

For a slightly sweeter, less tart flavor, you can add a splash of orange juice to the mixture.
