1 lb ground beef (80/20 fat content works best)
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
Salt and black pepper to taste
12 slider buns
6 slices American cheese, cut in half
1 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
Optional toppings: thinly sliced red onion, pickle slices, ketchup, mustard, or a simple burger sauce.
For best results, use a cast-iron skillet or a griddle to get a great sear on the patties.
