Ingredients
  

  • 4 slices thick-cut sourdough bread
  • 1 ripe avocado halved and sliced
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter softened
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • ¼ cup crumbled feta cheese optional
  • Pinch of dried oregano optional
  • Freshly cracked black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Spread avocado slices on a plate and season with salt and pepper. Mash slightly for spreadable texture (optional).
  • Butter one side of each bread slice.
  • On a griddle over medium heat, place 2 slices buttered-side down. Layer with cheddar, avocado, optional feta, oregano, and pepper.
  • Top with remaining bread, buttered-side up. Press slightly.
  • Grill for 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown and cheese is melted.
  • Slice and serve immediately.
