Ingredients
  

  • 1 hoagie roll
  • 1 boneless skinless chicken breast (thinly sliced)
  • 1/2 medium onion thinly sliced
  • 1/2 red bell pepper thinly sliced
  • 1/2 green bell pepper thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 4 slices Provolone cheese

Instructions
 

  • Prep the Veggies: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onions and peppers, and cook until softened and slightly caramelized (5–7 minutes).
  • Season & Cook the Chicken: Toss thinly sliced chicken with oregano, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Add to the skillet and cook until browned and fully cooked (5–7 minutes more).
  • Toast the Hoagie: Toast the hoagie roll in a pan or toaster until golden.
  • Assemble the Sandwich: Layer cooked chicken and veggies into the roll. Top with 4 slices of Provolone cheese.
  • Melt the Cheese: Cover the skillet and cook on low for 1–2 minutes until cheese melts.
  • Serve: Slice in half and enjoy warm.
