Ingredients
  

  • 1/3 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened pineapple juice
  • 2 tablespoons brown rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon grated ginger
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon water

Instructions
 

  • In a small saucepan, combine soy sauce, pineapple juice, vinegar, ginger, and garlic. Whisk to mix.
  • Stir in honey gradually, starting with ½ teaspoon and adjusting to taste.
  • In a separate bowl, mix cornstarch with water to make a slurry, then add to the sauce. Simmer until slightly thickened.
  • Let cool, taste, and adjust as needed.
